Investment Avenues

Diversify with CPMIC
Expanding beyond individual mortgage investments, Capital Prime also offers an ensemble of Mortgage Investment Corporations (MIC), which represent pooled funds designed to invest in an assortment of private mortgages. These MIC Funds focus mostly on both first and second residential mortgages within Canada’s most stable and historically strong residential real estate markets, ensuring investments are placed in areas known for their resilience and growth potential.
Crafted to accommodate a broad spectrum of investor profiles,  Capital Prime  MIC Funds stand out for their inclusivity, setting a modest minimum investment threshold of just $5,000. This makes it feasible for a wider range of investors to access the benefits of mortgage investments, including the diversification of assets and the potential for steady returns, without the need for substantial initial capital.

Investors
types

This criteria requires that an individual have net assets that count for at least $5 million, with liabilities subtracted. This means that an investor with $4.5 million in real estate and $500,000 in cash may be considered an accredited investor.
Your net assets (or combined with your spouse) are greater than $400,000. If you have before tax income of over $75,000 for at least two years in a row ($125,000 if you combine income with your spouse) and expect to exceed that income this calendar year, may be considered as an Eligible Investor.
Non-eligible investors can invest a maximum of $10,000, cumulatively, for all investments made subject to the OM Exemption in any twelve-month period unless they receive advice from a portfolio manager, investment dealer, or exempt market dealer, in which case they can invest up to $100,000.
